Prešeren House
When Dr. France Prešeren resided here between 1846 and 1849, the house belonged to the merchant and brewer Franc Mayr. Today, Prešeren's House, managed by the Gorenjski Museum, operates as a memorial museum, offering visitors insight into the poet's life, his original works, and valuable early prints.
The house is furnished with original furniture, including the room once used by Prešeren. On the ground floor, there is a gallery where exhibitions dedicated to the poet's life, work, and legacy take place.
