Khislstein Castle

The castle, whose name originates from the Khisl family, changed owners throughout the centuries, among which were numerous famous royal families such as the Ortenburgs, Counts of Celje, Habsburgs, Auerspergs, and many others.

Today, it is the home of the Upper Carniola Museum and hosts the Khislstein Summer Theater and Café Khislstein 12.56.
