Lent, as the oldest and most charming part of Maribor, holds a deeply rooted history along the banks of the Drava River. There, proudly standing in front of the Old Vine House, is the oldest vine in the world, which has witnessed numerous events along the river. It is particularly associated with the presence of rafters who would refresh themselves in this area and prepare for further travels towards Croatia and Serbia.
