In 1515, a late Gothic town hall was erected on the Main Square, which Italian masters redesigned in the Renaissance style between 1563 and 1565. From this period also comes the balcony adorned with a relief of the city coat of arms surrounded by two lions and the year 1565. The facade is decorated with pilasters.
Above the entrance stands a Baroque turret with an onion-shaped roof, the construction of which is surrounded by an interesting anecdote: "The client commissioned the construction of the tower, but did not allocate enough funds to the master, so he did not build the tower in the center out of anger."
