The bourgeois mansion underwent renovation in the Gothic style with some Renaissance touches after the earthquake in 1511. During the exterior restoration, frescoes depicting a medieval warrior and Saint Christopher, as well as other decorations from the 16th century, were discovered.
Today, the Homan House still carries on the tradition of the renowned café and pastry shop.
