Memorial park
The Old City Cemetery in Ptuj, which served as a burial ground for more than two centuries, has been renovated and revitalised as a space of exceptional cultural heritage. A stroll among the memorial markers provides insight into the lives of past inhabitants of Ptuj.
The oldest preserved tombstone dates back to 1799 and was erected for Johann Michael Wütmann, a baker from Ptuj.
