Dolenjska museum Novo mesto
In the center of Novo mesto stands the Dolenjska Museum, where you can enjoy a rich collection of archaeological finds and artworks by Božidar Jakac. Exhibitions on ethnology and the national liberation struggle narrate the stories of the past of this region. The museum also hosts occasional exhibitions and takes care of the collection in Kočevski Rog.
