The iron Bridge, spanning between the old town center and Kandija, crosses the Krka river at the lower part of the Main Square. Built in 1898, it replaced an old wooden bridge that stood slightly higher. This remarkable wrought iron structure, stretching across the Krka river in a single 75-meter arch, represents a rare and one of the oldest examples of its kind in Slovenia.
