City Beach
The Savinja River is a vital part of Celje's history and spirit. Therefore, it's not surprising that in 2009 it became a key destination for urban activities and gatherings of visitors as part of the initiative "Summer in Celje, the Princely Town." The city beach, located near the Provincial Museum, offers a refreshing oasis of relaxation by the river.
During the summer, concerts, theatre performances, and other events take place daily on the green relaxation areas.
