Subsidized student passes available from 21 September onwards

Ljubljana bus station is happy to announce that subsidized passes for university students are available from Septmber 21 onwards.

Our ticket offices are open all days of the week. We process subsidized passes between 6 AM and 8 PM. We also have operators available at our INFO center 1991, that can answer any of your questions about the subsidized passes.

Ministry of infrastructure has prepeared a simplification of the different tickets for the new schoold year. The main change is, that the new intercity pass (called Slovenia pass) is no longer limited to the specific route.

Subsidized ticket prices:

Slovenia monthly pass: 25,00 EUR,
Slovenia monthly pass, for 10 journeys/ month: 20,00 EUR,
Slovenia yearly pass: 200,00 EUR,
Slovenia yearly pass, for 10 journeys/ month: 160,00 EUR.

Slovenia pass enables travel on all intercity routes within Slovenia, using bus and train.

Yearly pass: valid from September 1 until August 31 for high school students and from October 1 until September 30 for university students.

There is co-pay for city transport - Ljubljana 10 EUR/ month, 100 EUR for a yearly pass.

Half-year passes will no longer be available. You will be able to purchase a pass for July and August, they will no longer be given for free.
