The Proštija Church boasts one of the most beautiful church interiors, featuring outstanding elements such as the Laib Winged Altar, choir stalls from the 15th century, and an important wooden Gothic statue of the patron saint St. George battling a dragon. The statue dates back to 1380.
The church itself dates back to the 12th century and has been expanded several times, resulting in a blend of styles. Particularly prominent are Gothic and Baroque elements.
